Options Magazine

Options Magazine provides advocacy and education to the LGBTQ community of Rhode Island. They also organize inclusive events and life-affirming resources for the LGBTQ community.

RI LGBT Center

The RI LGBT Center will be Rhode Island's only LGBTQ community center, providing operational support for LGBTQ organizations without offices. It serves as a hub for community gatherings, offering a common space for diverse LGBTQ organizations and social and educational opportunities.

Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Group

Part of the Rhode Island Department of Health, this group works to improve public health policies, systems, and environmental changes for the LGBTTQQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-Spirit, Queer, and Questioning) community.

Youth Pride, Inc.

Youth Pride, Inc. provides support, advocacy, and education for youth and young adults throughout Rhode Island impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.

RI Trans Health Referral Guide

This guide was created to address the need for coordinated and culturally competent health care for the transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender variant (trans*) community in Rhode Island. It provides information for both medical and behavioral health providers and consumers about health care providers who work with the RI trans* community.

World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH)

WPATH offers Standards of Care, which provide clinical guidance for health professionals to assist transsexual, transgender, and gender nonconforming people. They also provide current news, resources, and publications.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project provides national, 24-hour crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQQ youth.
